What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is an evidence-based practice which focuses on the musculoskeletal system, including muscles, bones, and joints. It involves manual assessment and treatment methods, tailored therapeutic exercises, and guidance on posture and movement-related issues. We offer Physiotherapy at Avalon with our expert practitioner Giovanni.

Physiotherapists collaborate with their patients to enhance, maintain, and restore optimal movement and functional ability throughout their lives. Movement and function can be compromised by factors such as ageing, injury, disease, or environmental conditions. Regardless of the issue, our role involves taking a thorough history and performing a precise physical examination to develop a treatment plan and anticipate specific outcomes. If you’re suffering with a chronic injury or need help post operation, we can help!
