You have mastered dynamic Pilates and now you’re ready to delve deeper into challenging techniques that refine strength, flexibility, and balance. You will be pushed to your limits while ensuring precise, controlled movements to maximise benefits and prevent injury.

In an Advanced Reformer Pilates class, the exercises are more complex and have a much higher intensity and can be at a faster pace. Ensure you have good physical fitness as we will challenge your stability, strength and endurance. There isn’t another studio that will challenge you more than our intense classes!

Are there any risks involved in Advanced Reformer Pilates?

Yes, Advanced Reformer Pilates can pose risks such as muscle strains or joint stress if exercises are performed improperly or without adequate fitness levels. We don't recommend coming to an intense class with injuries that prohibit movement.

Advanced Reformer Pilates FAQ

What classes should I attend before joining an advanced class?

We recommend you attending at least three Fundamental classes and then another three Dynamic classes first before attending an advanced class. You should feel comfortable using the machine and for getting pushed to your limits.

Do I need to bring anything?

All you need are your Pilates socks and your water bottle. We also sell grippy socks in our studio.

What happens during a group session?

Our group sessions can have up to 9 people within the studio. The sessions will be on either the Reformer or the mat & Tower combo. The machines will be set up for you already depending on the class. A group class is 50 minutes long.
