What is Dynamic Reformer Pilates?

Share

Dynamic Reformer Pilates is the next level up to our Fundamentals class that incorporates faster-paced movements, increased resistance, and often more challenging exercises. While Fundamentals focuses on controlled, slow movements, flexibility, and alignment, Dynamic Reformer Pilates is more intense, emphasising muscle endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and calorie burn.

What is dynamic reformer pilates

Key features of Dynamic Reformer Pilates include:

-Increased Tempo: Exercises are performed at a quicker pace to elevate the heart rate and improve cardiovascular fitness.

-Higher Resistance: The Reformer machine’s springs are adjusted to create more resistance, which helps build more strength, particularly in the legs, arms, and core.

-Variety of Movements: Dynamic Reformer Pilates may include more functional and compound exercises, integrating multiple muscle groups at once.

-Calorie Burn: The intensity and pace of the workout can increase calorie expenditure compared to traditional Pilates, making it appealing for those looking to tone and lose weight.

This style of Pilates is ideal for those who already have a strong Pilates foundation and are looking for a more intense workout that builds strength, endurance, and flexibility while providing a cardiovascular challenge.

We have Dynamic classes daily except from Wednesdays as it’s one of our most popular classes, so make sure to check our schedule and book yourself in!
